Starting in London on Tuesday 4th September, Bike to Bestival will wind its way to the Isle of Wight first taking in a section of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race route. It’s not the Tour de France though as we want novices and experienced riders to join in and have Great British fun and brandish true Bestival spirit. We’re also raising money for Cancer Research so we want plenty of people to join in.
After the Olympic route has been pleasantly peddled upon, it’s off to a country pub for an overnight stop where there will be a fun gig where you could join in and play your [insert instrument here], or just sit down and sink a few well deserved ales. The next day, the Bestival peloton will embark to Southampton to catch the ferry for a pre-Bestival party at the Waverley Campsite on the Isle of Wight. Then it’s on to Bestival for a uproarious weekend of frivolity and good times.
